Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how C&M Digital Marketing, also known as The Business Builders (“C&M,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and shares information when you visit cmbusinessbuilders.com, contact us, or use Reputation Builder. By using this website you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry form, we collect your name, industry, city and state, phone number, email address, the market you are interested in, and any details you choose to add. If you call or email us, we collect the information you share with us.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It may collect your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and similar usage data, using cookies or similar technologies.

Reputation Builder testimonials. If you submit a story, photo or other media through a Reputation Builder QR code or microsite, we process what you submit and the permission choices you make about how your name, story and media may be used. A story is held for review and is published only as you have permitted and the business or professional you reviewed has approved.

How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and provide, set up and support our services.
• To check which markets and industries are available.
• To operate, secure and improve this website and our services.
• To communicate with you about services you asked about, and to send business updates you can opt out of at any time.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business (for example hosting, email delivery and analytics), with the business or professional a testimonial was submitted for, when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business. Inquiry-form submissions are delivered to our team by email.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies to measure site traffic. You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide services and meet legal and business record-keeping needs. Testimonial content is kept for as long as the business or professional maintains its Reputation Builder service, unless you ask us to remove your submission.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, ask us to remove a testimonial you submitted, or opt out of marketing messages, by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will respond to valid requests as those laws require.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party links

This site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content.
